Haynes Manuals

Are they Haynes manuals any good for the Z4?
I've had a few for different cars in the past, and they don't seem too comprehensive. Though I mainly want it for torque values and basic things.

Buy a BMW TIS (Technical Information System) - plenty on E Bay (link below) - CD format data system which is accessed via your computer.

I did think about that, but I thought the TIS only ran on windows, I use a mac.
I thought about installing windows on a VM, but it seems a bit overkill just for that!

I believe Haynes include the Z4 in the E46 manual.

I remember seeing this online somewhere but then I couldn't find it when I actually decided to buy one, I ended up getting the TIS from Ebay for about tenner inc of postage.

Doesn't seem fantastic, though not seen one http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/1563925982/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Haynes car museum is good though

If you still can't decide if the haynes repair manual can do any help for your Z4, try to consult other people in order to really get things right. You might get something that is not necessarily needed for your car. Try to expand your search resources in order to get what you want.

Think you will find the Haynes manual lacking in regard to the Z4 with regard to roof and trim items, the mechanics are the same, but better to get a copy of TIS IMO.

TIS all the way. Pig to run on a Mac though, so I installed it on a Windows machine.
