Hayfever hits today

Horrendous! It started last night, but was my own fault as I had been cutting the field for 4 hours and with the grass being so long I was covered.

Yuck.

I feel your pain.. i get it at random days of the year, only had 1 day so far this year.... and the first time it hits i often think its a cold!

It started about a week ago for me, sore runny eyes, scratchy throat etc... thankfully started taking anti histamines a couple of days ago before this latest onslaught...

Yeah, me too. Every year... thoroughly depressing. It does kind of make wonder why I bought a roadster...

I always suffer... but this year I have been taking anti histamines since March and have changed to Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray - Much better than Beconnaise.

So far I've only had a couple of times where it's bothered me.

Living the dream!

Never suffered myself, but usually know when the season starts as my relatives who do suffer keep asking for 'discounted' hayfever remedies from my current employer (GSK). One of them had some sort of implant done about 3 years ago, and seems to work well in reducing the severity of her symptoms - don't know any details of it though.

Don't the roadsters come with pollen filters - or do you need to have the roof up for them to work?

Ive been suffering for the last week or so. Thought it was a cold to start with as its normally later in the year I start with the hayfever. Eyes are driving me mad but hasnt stopped me coming all the way back from manchester over woodhead with the top down :D

Went for a walk at lunch, slight sniffle and a few sneezes which is the first sign of it all year. I used to suffer horrendously when I was young, one summer being spent almost completely in doors because it was so bad.

When I was 14 or so I was given a test to see what I was allergic to, basically everything, and was subsequently given a course of injections to build immunity against those things. Worked a treat as it has to be really high for me to suffer :D

This is not doing me any good at the moment (although better than sitting in the office :D ).

Last day of sunshine so I hear, so no choice ...

The same here. I used to be allergic and underwent treatment as a teenager, but it still returns on the most unlikely occasions. Claritine helps.

Day I moved to Norfolk it started (aged 6) and like others was allergy tested and then given course of injections. Have to say as I've got older (much older :( ) it has got a whole lot better :D Feel for those of you who are suffering it's really miserable!

Ah the joy of age. I used to be a real bad sufferer. Took all my exams while crying and dripping tears on the papers (and that's not just because I couldn't answer the questions). Romantic walks ended with me sneezing on my then girlfriend. no car windows open, etc. etc.

Now I've grown out of it bar the slightest sneezes and no need for the medicine :) :)
No coupe for me :driving:

its like having man flu which arrives just when all the women are walking around in shorts and bikinis...
