I would put mine around that price bracket (also a 2003 and 72k miles) and yours is not far off my spec

but I guess it depends what other Z's are on the market

It's a big saving compared to a straight car. Can defiantly see why your tempted now. Go for it Mat.!!!

Long time dead mate :D

The flip side is you could buy a straight car and end up modifying it into a cat c-d if you drive it right anyway

The seats look well worn for 37000 miles mate!?

Yeah agreed I had noticed. But it looks more likely to me careless owner and some very cheap nasty leather cleaner! I made the very mistake on my MK 1 TT. I should hopefully be getting some history info soon. And the guy who owned it before the last owner confirmed the mileage and history when he sold it. 34k last year???

Agreed just need mrs monkeys blessing. And for things to check out......

Dear Mrs Monkey

Please let Mr Monkey have a new car. He has been well-behaved all year and seems to be an all round good chap.

From all at the Z4 Forum

You need to follow Guiseley's example and get your missus hooked too.
Seems to work well in both vehicle and wheel acquisitions

If Guiseley understands women he could become a multi millionaire. Unfortunately there is no-one on the planet with such gifts.

Very true plus points from the conversation me and the far superior other half had wher.

Enjoy my car (well it's not that bad really)
Get the paint fixed (it will make me happier)
Start saving now and sell mine in spring.

Hopefully I will then have the cash waiting. For when a desperate m owner needs to shift there car quick!! Down side I might be zed less a while. But Mrs Monkey dose and always will make a better point than me!!

Taz she definitely where's the trousers. But I do get to where the pink too too and the sparkly fairy wings!!

One day I will grow a pair

I must stop looking on any site that sells cars!!

Buy it Monkey - You have done all that homework, from the history that you can add you will be onto a vurtually depreciation free motor! This typo did make me laugh "35.5k achievable"

33.5k would be nice

Well I am going to get my car up together fix it all up ready for sale. Then see how that works out I think.

Space grey, the rarest colour of the 3 and all the greys :D

///M wasn't available in space grey, it's actually silver grey.

Ah interesting, I've seen the occasional one listed as SG on pistonheads but guess its not.

monkey-, know how your feeling, that gut wrench feeling of needing a coupe !! i had it with vettes for years. i bought a cat d mx5 once, only thing was, the girl who sold it to me worked at the local salvage yard and didnt tell me the history, i actually asked too as the dood was a slightly different shade of red, she just said there was a dent so she had a s/hdoor fitted,... lying bitch ! it was well crashed.had it for five years and still the beat one i had seen, just that i wouldnt have paid that money for it had i known. your situation is different in that you know what you are bying so aslong as yr happy and the price is right go for it.But, go on yr own gut feeling and expect the worse, do not believe a word they tell you because they 100% certainly underplay the damage, giving you the old "i cant understand why they wrote that one off it,... it was only light panel damage " blah blah blah bollox lying fuckwits , most of them,.... that aside, if the car looks well repaired and drives well, yes, go for it, just remember most are put off cat d or c cars so its a buyers market, just dont there with the old "THAT BABY'S COMIN HOME WITH ME !!!! " look in your eyes,... play it cool and let them sweat. good hunting !! :driving:
