Ok mines called 50 - 50......

This is after my Dad who passed away the day I picked it up he was 83 and in his later years I used to speak to him twice a day to check he was ok and I would say "how you doin " and he would always say "50/50" so god bless you dad you live on in the form of my Z4 !

Great way to keep the memory alive. Bravo to you my good sir!

My gf keeps calling my 350 'Rico' for some odd reason... Now that I think of it, it does kind of seem like a rico. I usually call her my love.
P.S don't say it infront of your gf/wife

Seems like I've been beaten to it (maybe twice). The new Mrs, first time she saw it exclaimed (in Italian, she's Italian see) "what the fark is that? The Batmobile?!". The previous Mrs had it in for the car and referred to it as the "Black B*tch". Go figure. New ladyfriend's car is now called the "Catmobile" - play on words with her name...

Ha, well every car I've ever owned has had a name (even the company cars)...some of the names:

CSL was named Bert (after my missus grandad who died the month before we bought him)
AMV8V is called James (a little unoriginal, but...)
TTRS is called Brian (it's white, so named after Brian on Family Guy)
Z4MC is called 'Zed' after Zed from Pulp Fiction.

We genuinely only refer to them by name when we're talking about them....surely we are not the only ones??? :tumbleweed:

Nope - it's 'the Z'... Or if Adamski can't hear me, 'the M' :D

My Mrs named my last one Pablo. I vetoed that...

I name all my cars after Transformers so yes I have named him. I just have to decide if he is going to be a heroic Autobot or an Evil Decepticon..

This time it was the latter.. the evil "Dead End"

I don't normally name cars, but was so excited about picking mine up that the night before I discussed names for it. Such a beautiful car I thought it deserved something more than 'The Zed', plus the roadster was called that anyway.

Couldn't think of anything, but driving it away, found that Stug had left his lego Batman in the ashtray (do you want it back mate...?!) so 'Bat Car/mobile' it is!
Ironically the shape of the original Batmobile drove my love for black curvy sports cars from a young age, so it really is fitting :D
Ha ha..you found him..Nope he belongs in the car..everyone called it the "BatStug' and he was gifted to the car by a friend.. I love that you also feel the bat mobile vibe :-)
