Have you ever

Lol - same, except I get full on sexy Z ass :D

Downlighters though, there's a garage mod to ponder on....

Indeed. Also in my planning as I have the LEDs already to go in. Just for the mood lighting of course, the tube lights for the "big" lighting job :D

Mood lighting. In your garage. Now that's mental

"garage"? "garage" ? That is a man cave I let you know !! 8)

I look out the window at it....I sometimes stay at a hotel in Manchester and ask for a room facing the car park, so that I can watch valet drive my car round to the front entrance, and sometimes just watch it parked up!!

Ha, thanks for all the kind comments, makes all the hard work worthwhile! It's my first house (I've bought) so I'm filling it full of nice gadgets and gismos! I'm currently fitting the LED downlighters on a PIR and up and down wall lights either side of the garage door. Then it's lot of LED uplighters in the garden

I love the thought of dan's neighbours watching him take that photo... It is great though

Haha, they're used to it! I have flood lights for waxing the car at night if I'm too busy to do it during the day!

i thought the carport i built this summer for all year round washing & waxing was extravagant :P but that lighting has tripped some ideas that won,t go away
cheers

Would love a car port, but don't have the space. I only have space for 1 car on the drive with the garage directly behind.

The 3w lights - they are going to be a little weak though? I have found that 8 w is the minimum I could find useful. Expensive though at £23 a bulb.

All the time. The bigger question has to be - what's your favourite angle where your car looks best? We know Bing is an arse man and judging by how Tom parks, his is sideways on. I personally like the view from the front (when I see another Zed in the rear view mirror). How do you like yours??

They're actually very bright. I'm not using them to light up the drive though, just for ambient effect on the brickwork.

Mine were expensive, £300 for the 3 down lighters and the two up and down wall lights and that was from a friend, with a big discount!

Ps, the down lights are 6 watt each.

Here you can see how bright they are in an otherwise pitch black unlit road....

Ps. Sorry for dragging it off topic.

I love the look of the car from all angles, but I think I love the front quarter the most.
