91.9p ($1.37) P/L For UL (Just south of Weston-super-mare)

According to my calculations: 3.785411 = 1 US gallon. 91.9p per litre = $5.186/US gallon.

Please advise if my formula/equation is incorrect.

Yes, except the exchange rate quoted by 2dogs seems a bit low. Closer to 1.48.
With petrol now down to 89.9p in the UK we are at last back to the $5 gallon Vs the times when we were at up to £1.30 per litre and 2:1 exchange giving a US $10 gallon. :headbang:

We just hit $1.87 here in Southeast Ga. On another note, Henry Ford must be rolling in his grave. Imagine, November 20, 2008 Ford shares hit $1.01, I can now buy one share of Ford cheaper than 20Ducks can buy a gallon of regular gas. :( :o :o

Missouri has some of the least taxed fuel in the nation. Although I live in Kansas, when I do go on the Missouri side I try to top up. I just checked prices just on the MO side...Independence, MO is one of the best places to fill up: $1.39/gallon for regular $1.59/gallon for 92 octane, 11/21/08 prices.

This is my first one and I am off to work now. Liliy is now home and Kaitlin arrives soon we hope.

You know....I really hope that the gas on base in the UK is way cheaper than off base. I'm going to have to brag about it.

A lot.

You might find that with braggin too much that a shiv will find a way into your neck. You might want to leave that level of talk at the NCO club.

Your probably right.

We are now at $1.55 for regular. On a much more somber note, we here in Florida are rapidly positioning (not that we want to) ourselves to overcome California and Nevada in the coming year as the new leader in foreclousures. It is hard to believe that a year and a half ago this economy was still flying, even though it was artificial.

I can confirm that you will pay US prices at Lakenheath.

My jealousy living 25 miles from the base is knowing there is a Taco Bel there. I often long for that hit of flavour. We know it is not quality but it does hit the spot!

Sceptre

I'll give you artificial intelligence!!
