Have I bought a money pit?

Result
Glad to hear you got it sorted promptly (and saved a bob or two) now you can start to enjoy the car! :driving:

Don't forget the life time guarantee on their work.
If you have/had twitchy steering, like the car wants to drive it's self, you can adjust the concentric ring on the motor, that will sort it.
I must have gone through ebay too, glad it's sorted
Oh, and I don't recall seeing any photos of your car yet, I may have missed them but if I haven't...get snapping :poke:

Great news OP.

That's the problem these days - all most places seem to want to do is remove a part and fit a new one.

As you discovered, sometimes there are much better options!

You are correct, but I rectified that situation today: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=115744

Well done on sorting the EPS!

Just a comment on the list of things you need doing, most are just consumables (except EPS), so look at it this way, get them done and enjoy knowing you will have less bills for those in future. At least that's how I looked at mine, which also needed a lot of "consumables" when I got it.

Thought I should post an update seeing as I've now done all the jobs I was quoted for, (haven't done the discs and pads but bought them, just waiting for a day off).

Just a small saving of £3,397.09 buy doing it myself, just shows what someone can achieve with youtube and some basic tools.
