My father does Costumized car interiors www.detroitexotic.com and i was thinking of doing something to the interior any suggestions? 2-tone maybe red? also looking for a spoiler nothing over the top something to add a little UMPHH to the rear trunk lid lol...

one more thing when i lock and unlock my car it only does 2 things locks and unlocks my car,,, is there a setting i can do wich would maybe make my lights flicker or have my horn sound?

welcome

nice rims, I like them 8)

I still haven't seen a spoiler I think suits the Zed, most look very out of place, don't follow the style/lines of the car, and don't look OEM.

welcome along and nice zed :driving:

locking - definitely possible to get the indicators to flash (mine does), also I think you can get an audible signal too. Be a trip to either a dealer for programming or an independent with the relevant equipment

spoiler - no need IMO :D

Love the Brembo's,and the rims look good too. Spoilers do exactly that IMO, spoil the lines of the rear,I think the rear is a very big part of the overall cohesive look of the car. All z's I've seen with spoilers look a bit rubbish. But, each to their own.An overhaul of the interior could be the way to go.

Are they real brembos or the plastic caliper covers? :poke:

I think they're just covers, if so i'd bin them asap.

not real brembos,,, The rear caliper dusted my rear rims ALOT.!! so i seen a set of caliper covers overseas and bought them.... ever since i installed them not a spec of dust from my pads came on to the rims... :headbang: I agree with you guys though, not the very best Attachment to a BMW,, but the rims are new and after seeing how the dust baked on to the stock rims i couldnt risk that with the ones i have on now...

im gonna go with 2-tone red and black suede center inserts for the interior,, everything including the shift leather knee supports door panels im gonna aslso have my father embroider Z4 logo into the head rests. steering wheels the only one he said will give him a problem because he has to stitch it by hand,,

Real nice looking Zed.
Forget the spoiler - horrible things ont he Zed and as said before ruin it.
Brembo covers - they've got to go. Switch to low dust pads and you'll be just fine. EBC's are common int he UK but not sure of the US.

Interior sounds great - wish I had a trimmer int he house

I saw one a little while back with an alcatara wrapped dash (not the dash trim; the actual dash). Not to everyone's taste, but personally I love it.. would definitely do it to mine if I had the means (I had the bumpy plastic dash).

An alcantara/suede M steering wheel would also be on my list!

Do not get a spoiler.

Additionally, I know you don't want brake dust on your rims, but ditch the covers. They are immediately tacky. Get different pads with less dust.

But other than that, good looking car, good luck with the interior.
