Hated the Z4!

I was tempted to buy a 2007 Gray 3.Osi BMW with black interior but before I signed tha paperwork I told the salesman that this was not the Z4 I wanted. The salesman located my 2008 Monaco Blue 3.Osi with Dream Red leather and I said "YES"! That's what I want, a Z4 which is different from the majority.

Please understand that I'm not critizing anyone's color choice.I own a Gray Equinox and like it's Gray color but a sports car needs to stand out IMO.

To be honest I'm hoping to keep the Z4 stock - it was supposed to be a cheap, 5 seat, relatively fast car...........somehow its ended up as a 2 seater, straight 6, BMW thats cost as much as the car I've just sold! Bloody useless I am when it comes to cars.

Still might as well enjoy it before the world plunges into the global financial apocalypse!

Sorry for being a total spanner but just read the thread someone put up about BMW education and its occurred to me that I actually don't know what bloody model I've bought!

Is there an easy way of telling from the original autotrader linky? The alloys don't even appear to be in the options on that PDF doc and I can't work out if the steering wheel is the 'M' one or not.

Sorry - newbie spaz alert!

Sorry gannet I meant if its an SE or Sport....I just assumed it was an SE but is there any give away features that confirm it?

For example on the 350 you know its a GT if its got cruise control

Parkers is what was causing all the confusion - coupled with the fact that there seems to be about a zillion options on the car!
