Has your motorbike surfaced from the garage yet?

With the snow finally gone I got my motorbike out for the trip to work this morning. First time out for the beast since end of September last year! Great to back out! Missed that! :D
 
Not yet, but I managed to ride mine to the MOT and back last year about 30 miles in total :thumbsdown: , hoping for some dry weather in a couple weeks when I'm home to go out and play.
 
Cant get it out of the shed(snow)... buddy is haggling me he wants to go riding this Sunday because its supposed to go up to 50 degrees.

Well my first ride yesterday ended up being an expensive one!! :(

Picked up a bloody screw in the centre of the rear tyre!! Started to take it out last night and yes, it started going down! Only done around 200 miles on that tire!! They won't repair those rated tyres so it's another £112 for a another tyre!! Bugger! :cry:

Just what I needed as the Z4 has just clicked over 10,000 miles now and I have around the BMW limit on the rear tyres already, so will need to buy a set of rears for that soon!! :|
 
After going to the trouble of connecting the bike up to a trickle charger last November I forgot to switch the bl%%dy thing on. Been trying this last week to rescue the battery but the charger indicated a charging error. Removed the battery from the bike and gave the terminals a good polish with a dremel. The charging green light just appeared yesterday which seems to suggest the battery has been saved. Just a well as Kawa are charging £150 for a replacement.

Weather forecast is looking decent for the weekend so fingers crossed the ZZR (Zed) will get a chance to stretxh her legs. :D
 
mine serfaced at the weekend friday a run to whitby an sunday had a run out to richmond was cold an there is still a lot of salt on the roads. hope for more sun this weekend an she will be out again :D
 
Surfaced today 16th March, 100+ miles so more than last year already, even the sun made a brief appearance. :D

Only just nudged over the speed limit once, just did'nt drop back below it :evil:
