Has someone stolen my boot amp!?

My Z4 is equipped with option S677A HiFi System Professional DSP.

Having read a bit around it, appears that there should be an amp in the boot next to the battery.

Er...I don't see it... :o

It's a facelift August 07 build if that makes a difference.

Looks like it may have been moved for later cars to behind the boot partition panel as per this TIS document:

Indeed, the battery compartment is the first thing to flood if the boot ever leaks, and audio amps really dont like water! I had to have mine repaired for an unrelated issue and the guy doing it said it's the first non-water damaged one he'd ever had to repair.

I did a google search about the boot amps and it seemed almost every single issue was related to water damage so seemingly the most common issue.
