Has anyone used etyres?

30,000! my rears only lasted just under 16,000 and I drive like an old man.
Well, yes, 30,000 miles is the extreme end of the lifespan for a front tyre, never mind a rear tyre.

Mine is more like 10,000 rear and 15,000 front...but it heavily depends on the ratio of track days to commuting miles (and I have ruined a set of rears in one day in the past).

But the point is the same, in that if you're likely to be replacing a pair within a couple of years anyway, then being made a year or two earlier won't make any difference to their performance/lifespan.
