Has anyone put 235 tyres on the front (OEM wheels)?

I have 235 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus on the front and 265 on rears at the moment. Fit perfect no problems, in fact the fitter said they were a better fit than the 225/255 that were on.
The Sport Cup plus are fantastic grip but don't come with a lot of tread (5mm) and are not good in the wet.

Don't know whether to take that as a positive or a negative :P
  • The tyres are useless in the wet (which is over 50% of the time in the UK)
  • They only have 5mm of tread (which means they're half worn the moment you buy them)
  • They're about 2x the price of standard Michelins (PS2/PSS)
  • They'll fit on an e89
 
I run 235/45-18 front and 265/40-18 rear on the stock M rims and IMO that is a great combinations with no issues... :driving:
