Has anyone found a "speed hump" type convertible cover?

Hello there... I've been searching forums, doing several GIS searches, but so far all I've managed to find are some covers that were done for the Z3.

Has anyone ever seen, or know where I could buy, a "speed hump" type cover for the convertible top on the Z4 roadster?

What I'm talking about is is like the one that's on the Porsche Boxster Spyder http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_shows/los_angeles/2009/0911_2011_porsche_boxster_spyder/photo_00.html

Where I live, once it's top down weather, there's not much need to worry about needing the top to go up, so even a cover that was a PITA to put on or remove would be OK.

Anyone?

I know what you mean. Something like this, but for the Z4.

That one looks, frankly, s**t to me. Different shade of rad, odd looking fitment, looks like it was made for another model.

The Porsche Boxster has a much bigger space to cover, so the cover doesn't look as bad...

Monkeyfart, welcome to the forum...
Not sure if this would suit your need but this will close that gap on a Zed nicely...

Hello WLH,

1) No, that's not was I was talking about. I'm talking about something that gives a streamlined look from the rollhoops down to the trunk line.

but

2) That's TOTALLY something I could use! :)

Thanks man!

Maybe I'll do some photoshop or CAD mockups and see what a fiberglass fab would charge...

As they say on Top Gear... "How hard can it be?" :)

I have my own fibreglass business, might have to make a mock up and see what it would look like.

Like the speedster look but do not think it would suit the style of the Z4 with the hard edge flame surfacing
