I know this is really picky, but there was something rubbing me up the wrong way about the stock antenna. It's just really big imo!

So I went and bought an aftermarket chrome one for like a fiver... came today, looks lovely.

whippy  not stubby  .... :D

cant say as ive noticed any kind of tendancy for this to turn into a debate

I got this one:

Looks tons better than stock

this has to be a joke.....

this really is the number one most talked about thing on here... to add a stubby!

Its also one of a few signs that i look for when i see a Z on the roads to see if it is a forum members car!

This is what my new arial looks like :)

not bad but I'd advise the smaller rubber one you can get...a citreon dealer sells them on ebay for a couple of quid... some people say there is a chance someone could knock a solid aerial like that metal one and cause damage

I ordered the BMW stubby. Originally it said 06-09 but it came with two studs and screwed in fine, delivered in a nice BMW box. I usually listen to satellite or ipod and so reception was not a big deal to me, but I still have the same reception quality as before. I spent a few dollars more than the random Chinese parts, but it looks OEM.

Stubby is the first thing I did. Mango walk was the eBay seller I think.

Not sure on the metal one, it don't think the materiel goes with either the paint, the aerial base, or any other accessories on the car. But conforming can be boring also...
