Has anybody here been on a track day learning course? For example learning oversteer etc?

Just had a look online for driver improvement courses and I kinda like the idea of being taught how to handle a performance car a bit better can anyone recommend a day coarse in the South East?

Ive been on a few track day my next on is curborough in 2 weeks never had lesson though although I did look into doing some skid pan lessons to learn to control RWD think it was about £200 id do something like that maybe

Car Limits comes highly recommend by the Lotus community. Site seems down at the moment though.

I was at Curborough Tuesday, we hire it out each year so get all day to drive around, its a sprint track so one car at a time but gives you an idea of a full on track day and is pretty safe if you mess up.

Yes,did some of these,inc skidpan training when in my 20s,definitely worth while.
Not sure where does them down south,but Silverstone,Brands,Oulton park,Thruxton etc etc all did at one time. Should be easy enough to find.....certainly recommend it.

I've done 2 full days with Learn 2 Drift at Rockingham. Great fun and really teaches you a lot about how cars behave on the limit (a bit more laid back than CAT / Carlimits).

I'd had a bit of practice previously, so went straight in with the advanced 1 to 1 lessons.

I've been on a car limits day at north wealde airfield & it's good fun getting your car out of shape/driving it on the edge
