Has any M Owner considered upgrading with Dinan parts?? I see they have a throttle body upgrade.

Seems a bit excessive! All they are are bored-out original M throttle bodies - could probably get someone to do you the same job for a lot less!

The gains quoted are peak.
What's the rest of the curve look like?
I'll bet the area between the two curves is next to nothing.

The bane of Dinan mods - big money for little gains. I'm looking at getting the 3.91 diff from them, but that's about it. The only other thing I'd consider is the short shift kit, and the UUC version looks a lot better. Maybe the rear trailing arm monoballs - has anyone tried those?

6hp is about less than 2%. Here's a cheap and easy way to see if that 2% is worth $1300. First thing in the morning jump into your z and drive it a bit to get a good feel for it's handling. Now come home, hit the john, bathroom, or wc (depending on country of origin). After "dropping the kids off at the pool" jump back into your z. "Dumping" this extra weight will help your car accelerate faster, likely close to the 2% gain that the Dinan throttle body will give you. Now make your decision about spending $1.3k
