Hardwiring in a Snooper 3Zero

Hi guys,

i'm going to hardwire in my radar detector into my new Z this weekend and have bought a fuse-bridge piece of kit; Now to choose which empty fuse to use (bearing in mind its a 2amp fused unit).

Can i use the empty F2 slot @5amps for the bridge or will this blow the fuse (2amps) - am i being thick here....

A guy posted "Do you think the #2 slot will not support 2 amps?" > "No. My V1 is on the same fuse."

If the slot has a 5 amp fuse, and your device pulls 2 amps then your fine.
The fuse stops you pulling too much power, it doesn't regulate how much power is supplied to the device.
