LOOKING FOR A HARDTOP FOR MY NEW PRIDE AND LOTS OF JOY 53 PLATE Z4..ANY INFO WOULD BE GRATEFUL...ANDY :headbang:

Hi ddriegg welcome to z4 ownership. Your z4 needs No preparation for a hard top. It simply fits and secures o. 3 points , 2 at the back and 1 Central one at the front above the rear mirror. Now is definately the time to buy. But canny owners know this and sell in the autumn. Best of luck in your search

4 points, 2 at the rear just behind the doors and the same 2 that the soft top latches to at the front. You put the Allen key in the centre and turn it to remotely operate the 2 latches at the front corners.
 
Your right GreyZed, I should have said three locking points. When I bought mine I was unsure if the zed had to have been set up to take a hardtop. It turned out not as they are all ready prepared.

Only UK cars are prepared, not all Z4's are (for the benefit of or foreign friends)
 
hey..thanks for the prompt responses...as too colour ...not worried as my mate is a sprayer...been keeping a look out...but none forsale..except for a broken one on ebay...as ive read in a couple of threads..is it worth popping over too germany with a transit van and buying a few...?
