Hi guy's,

I was just wondering if there's anything i can do to my hardtop to make it fit better, i find that it is not fitting like it should be or is it normal that the gap between the body of the car and the hardtop is so big?
here you see a picture of it...

can i make the gap smaller? and how?

thx

cj10jeeper ......... on here knows just about everything on how to do that, he sent me some good how to stuff - which unfortunately is on my home computer ..... not here.
Its a fairly simple adjust .......

there are adjusting nuts on the two prongs that you insert into your car... you should place the hardtop on but not lock it in place, then using a spanner adjust either side untill it is sitting 5mm from the car then lock it in place..

its really easy, just those two nuts on either side.

If you're not sure the PDF instructions with diagrams are in a link on my signature.

Hi thx for all the answers, i suppose you're talking about the adjusting nuts on the image below, but is it the first or the second one that i have to adjust?
I'm going to try to adjust it this evening...
thx

i had to adjust mine last week (hasnt been on since the spring) i found small turns of the bolts were the best method, also find a bumpy road and take your spanners with you!

They are the nuts in question, IIRC one is simply a a locking nut for the adjuster, so you should only be able to slacken one off and looking at the diagram I would say the lower one is the lock nut and the upper the adjuster.
