Hardtop on Alpina rs

Good morning,
I am currently looking for a hardtop for my Alpina, quite hard to come by!
I have seen one for £950, but this seems a lot to pay.
So, I wanted advice please on the following.

1. Is the Alpina prepped to accept a hardtop?
2. Us £950 extortionate to pay for one in Stirling Grey?
3. If I do buy it, my car is titanium silver, so would a darker hood look stupid, or stylish? As if paid all that money I would be reluctant to pay for it to be sprayed to match.

Thanks

Stirling grey hard top on Titanium silver isn't going to look right, hardtops should be a colour match or a strong contrasting black imo.
The Alpina will be prepped to accept it and the price is at the top end so should be mint and include covers and stand

Thanks Marlon,
I might wait and see if a cheaper one comes up then, as if a respray needed it is making it very expensive!

This is the sort of deal you want to hold out for:

Looks like it has sold, but worth checking out

You are probably right, but I would double check.

All UK BMW Z4's are hard top prepped, USA models not.

Perry will probably know if Alpina made standard or not.

Yep, Alpinas have hard-top prep

Thanks all for the help and advice, does anyone else think sterling grey hardtop on silver would not look right? Just missed out on the titan top on here, gutted as now going to have to try negotiate for the sterling one :(

This is the contrast you are looking at, albeit reversed:
(someone with the time and skills could switch it in photo-shop I guess)

Thanks again Marlon!
I actually think the other way round would look ok.
Any other opinions ?
Sorry if message comes through twice, first one gone missing it seems.

Something like this?

That's great, is it an actual zed, or has it been altered? Very clever if it has :o
I think it might not look half bad?
Cheers

No, I just recoloured the silver hardtop with a brown tint.

Yes, not sure it's worth the expense to get sprayed to match, sterling grey on titanium silver might be the way forward :o
Or have it wrapped...? It's cheaper than a respray...
