Hardtop help please...

Hi All,

I am looking to purchase a Hardtop for my e85, I think I've found one in the right colour, but... I am hoping someone here can confirm for me (without a shadow of a doubt) that...

I have the Hardtop Preparation kit fitted, that it is all that I need to fit a Hardtop and that I can go in my z4 to collect it, by putting my soft roof down and fitting the Hardtop...

Here is a picture of what I think is the kit fitted to my car:

Hi, all uk supplied z4’s came with hardtop preparation so unless yours is an import it should be ok :thumbsup:

Yep - that's all you need, just pop on the hard top and away you go (EDIT - posted same time as the bear :) )
 
You just need to make sure you have the hardtop tool (should come with a hardtop...should). This will lock the top into position after you've placed it in the two locating holes either side of the car (like what you've pictured).
