hardtop gap system ???

hi guys
Was looking at my hardtop today and one of those light bulb moments hit me. "is it possible to retrofit some sort of system to fill the gap between the hardtop and the car!!" I’m thinking some sort of plug with a body colour skin to create a seamless connection.

has anyone ever thought about this or actually got something before i try to come up with some sort of system??
 
I am thinking a black one would suit me :)

Have you seen any so far?

yea was thinking like a round hollow section of rubber that can be pushed into the gap, thats the easy bit. the outer film would have to hold a coat of paint and flex so will need to have a think. getting it painted isnt a problem, mate at the top of the street has a bodywork business so il get him to spray it while hes spraying my bumper :P

na i haven't seen anything like this. our hardtops look great as is, but the ability to make them blend in and look like its part of the car would make them look fantastic :D
