Hardtop Frustration!!!

Woke up this morning to a glorious sunny day in Oxfordshire :) . Bit of low lying mist but the best day of 2010 so far :) . Then I remembered the hardtop was still on - usually til end Feb :( . I swear if there had been anyone in I'd have had it removed and in the hedge in a flash :) . Still, pouring rain forecast tomorrow :( .

So I'll cheer myself up with a late Xmas prezzie for all you unlucky coupe owners.... :poke:

in typical fashion the weather is sh1t here! i havent had a chance to get the roof down in 2010

on the one day that is was nice i was stuck in work all day and by the time i left it was dark and freezing again!

Yep... reason I've not bought one - one of the nicest drives recently was the other week when the snow was everywhere, sub zero but clear blue skies.

I have had the roof off all day today :D

Arrgghhh! Stop winding me up! Think I might bunk off early and 'work from home' rest of the day.....

Let me find your name in the company addressbook ... :poke:

See, another good thing about coupe - BMW's made sure coupe owner's dont feel frustrated by making the hard top permanant, and also saved us from back aches by not having to lift that hard top :fuelfire:

I believe it was Oscar Wilde who said:

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars - unless you own a coupe that is". Historical Internet Fact.

Happy enough in my nice, cosy, quiet coupe thanks

Happy with my roof down when it's nice and top up when its not - Oh of course you dont have that option on your Coupe......... :poke:

roof went down at 8:30am... still down now, and won't go back up till I get to the gym at 7pm...

Ah the joy of the electric hoist in the garage. Makes it a good full 2 minutes to have it up and in the roof, then out for some roof down fun

Wonder it I tried it on a coupe if it would pull the garage roof down or lift the coupe???

Sun's been shining here all day to, I'm going to remove mine just as soon as I get home.....

In April, DOH! :headbang:

I wanted to put the roof down when I left work at almost 7pm tonight, because it is just so luxurious to ride, and if it wasn't dark, I would have. (Mind you, doesn't matter that it's dark, does it, I might do it tomorrow after work!!) ROLL ON THE SUMMER
