Hi,

Seems like they want to charge us £1600 for a hardtop in the UK, don't suppose some of our friends in Europe France/Germany could post the prices there?

Thanks

Indicative prices in Euros (2100 - 2285 euros/depending on the colour) can be seen here:

Important: Refered prices are without TAXES/VAT and the shop's profit which have to be added.

You can get them on Ebay where the price is generally around the £800 mark. Just set up a regular search to advise
Good time of year to buy before the Winter approaches and pushes the price to the £1000 mark

Got mine last Autumn in perfect condition inc. the storage bag for £800

I've just purchased a hardtop for the G/Fs Z4, we ended up paying £900, I'd been looking and bidding on e-bay for a few weeks on various hardtops but they were either in the North of Scotland (I live on the South coast) or they went over £1200 (the limit I was prepared to go to), patience paid off in the end :)

I'd love one myself, but most of the ones I've spotted have been silver or grey.

That and the fact I can't afford one at the moment

still pretty pricey, but they do look good on.

anyone on here with a non black car have a black hartop? think it could look pretty cool

do people that have them, really think they are that much better ?

ive had less refined convertibles in the past, so i guess my M seems very solid, and its always garaged so i guess it never gets cold.. what else would you notice ?

Personal opinion only but I think it looks more stylish than the top up, it's certainly quieter and more comfortable and a slight bonus is that rear visibility is way better than with the top up. I feel I have 2 cars - a Winter and Summer. With an electric hoist int he garage I can whizz it off in less than 5 minutes if the sun appears out of season

I only drive the car top up if it rains, summer and winter so would miss that flexibility with a hard top.

Yeah, but you also drive down the M6 with the roof down in rain storms so you're hardly a valuable reference in this discussion.. :poke:
