Hardtop finally! Any tips for getting it sprayed? (Few photos)

If you want it white then wrap it, best of both.
If you're looking to get it sprayed white I'd take it to a specialist. I had mine sprayed from Maldives blue to Sapphire Black by BMW in house spray shop. Cost £700 inc vat and included having the window removed and replaced in order to get the paint in the gap. Really please with the job. Also you have to be very careful just giving it to an indie, they only have to oversand the leading edge profiles and it'll leak and give wind noise. I went with BMW because if there was any problems they'd be able to replace with new with no hassles.

I like the full on black look, even with the white hardtop pic that chapeau has posted. Two tone also looks quite good as pictured above! If you've got your heart set on it then I'd go for a wrap? Then you can always revert back to the black 8)
Cheers for the tips kis, wasn't aware the spoiler came off so would make spraying a lot easier! And didn't think about getting the rear window tinted, not a bad shout!
And agree about getting a decent spray job but the guy I use is the best around here! And I'm going to his stag do and wedding so i better get a decent price

It's an easy choice *KEEP IT BLACK* to make on your hardtop *KEEP IT BLACK*, I would *KEEP IT BLACK* do a poll and go from there, oh, and KEEP IT BLACK
Having seen the pics in both black and white I think I'm in the black camp.
Although I do think the white looks pretty good as well I think the car looks a bit meaner with black as suits the rest of the look of your car better. The white looks a bit "soft" to me on the E85. Perversely I do like the white on white on an E89 though, saw one with a black roof and I preferred the white! As others have mentioned there's the cost saving/hassle of painting it to consider as well as future resale.
I would however be tempted to either paint or wrap the A pillars to match and possibly the wing mirrors as well. The A pillars are definitely something I think I would do on my silver car if I ever had paintwork. Seen it done on another E85 and other cabs and it works really well.

Logic and opinion are two different things. You're actually saying my opinion is flawed... which is of course just your opinion. To my eyes the car looks just fine when the hood is up, but I'll concede it does look better when it's down. The colour contrast works because the roof is black, and that's what I am (we are) used to seeing.
