Hardtop Dimensions?

Hello all, I'm looking at a hardtop but with the weather as it is I'm not sure I want to take the Zed to collect it and do a lengthy run with a folded wet roof. Once fitted its likely to stay on over the winter and I can garage the Zed for the rest of the week to allow it to dry properly. The owner works away from home and can't measure it for me and I'm trying to work out if it'll get into the back of my S-Max with the seats down.

So, does anyone have the full dimensions? Cheers all!
 
Couldnt you drive back with it on then take it off when you get home?-or is it too much of a faff to get it aligned properly?

However, try PMing beedub - he transported one last winter when he bought one off here :thumbsup:
 
Not keen on 3 or 4 hours with the roof folded wet, and tbh I don't have a bag or any way of storing it off the car in the short term. Ideally it will be on the car and stay on through to spring. Otherwise I'll have to pass on it. I've got it in my head I want it now though. Man maths has prevailed :)

I remember photos on here of the box a new one is delivered in - comes on a pallet it is so big :o

Stuart - thought your Mum (Gran ?) had a garage you can use ? Unless of course you need the garage to dry the car off :slaphead:

Mother in law, and correct, that's the drying zone :) I'm thinking the hardtop is a sensible investment though, even though I now have a garage available for the car. Need to get rid of one of the small cars to free up space. Anyone want a Mitsubishi space star as a winter car/small family runaround?
 
Do you want your weather back? You lot are hardened to it. Us soft southern types prefer to see the bright yellow thing in the sky that confuses you lot so much :D
 
It's not carbon black by any chance Stuart? If so, you'll never get it in the back of anything and you should PM me to take it off your hands!! :poke:

I don't think having your roof folded for a few hours whilst wet will do it any harm. Just pop it up again when you get home and it will be fine. Just make sure its fully dry before you decide to go hard for the entire Winter!
 
That's my point, nowhere to safely store the hardtop short term other than on the car. The garage just barely takes the Zed and I'll need to put carpet on the walls to protect the door when opening :(
