Sold for £530 needing repairs and paint, not cheap really is it ?

Another one just gone on starting at £700, I have to accept I've been talking b0110cks about prices dropping :headbang:

Certainly look like they are going for a lot more than you suggested with good ones in the £500 to £600 range. Wishful thinking.

This battered one for £530 (which realistically makes it £750 for same colour respray, the good one selling for just shy of £1k and as you say starting price of one at £700.

I maintain if I advertised my Sterling grey now I'd see exactly what paid for it 5 years ago at around £800

i reckon that the hardtops will cost more than the cars themselves in a few years times, well going on the sold price of that damaged stirling grey hardtop :o

If someone payed £530 for a damaged one then they are as daft as a pan of crabs. imho
 
How much to have the roof replaced on the Roadster? Wouldn't it make economic sense to use the convertible roof until it needed replacement and then have a new one fitted rather than try to protect the convertible roof with a near £1000 hardtop? That way you get all the benefits of the convertible all year for as long as it lasts?

Mine came with a hardtop, but if it hadnt i would have bought one -
1. to protect the fabric roof in the winter, also warmer and less road noise
2. because I can take it off by myself quite quickly
3. you will always getting 80+% of your money back if you came to sell the hardtop
4. the roadster looks great with the hardtop fitted :thumbsup:
 
The Midnight Blue top went for £630 on ebay, a black one has a day to go and is already at £735

Well the black top went for £1025 :o

That really puts to bed any theories that prices have softened and decreasing.
