There's a nice black one on ebay

It's near to me, so could possibly pick it up and store it for someone.

Thanks. Got it!

In black to help!

It did help... I now have a matching hard top too!

What's not to like, apart from the fact that it's clean and shiny, unlike the rest of the car which had to drive 300 miles across the country lanes of Berks. to pick it up today. Too dark now for foto... black car on a black, wet and windy night.

It was quite noisy around the top of the windscreen on the motorway. Is this normal? I have had the Allen key out again to check that it's properly secured (it's well locked down at the rear) and will see if there is any difference tomorrow.
Interestingly, I could also hear wind noise from the wiper blade at the top of its arc on the motorway, and a regular squeak from the motor...

You might want to adjust it Dan? Have you looked at the manual/guide to adjust the side mounts?

Mine came, not too surprisingly, without a manual. Any pointers..?

It never even occurred to me... I assume there is only one hard top for both pre and post facelift?

No jealousy over the coupes now... for the time being

Hope this helps, sorry I couldn't upload a pdf had to convert to a image.

My car is hardtop ready from the factory, does this mean a HT will fit straight on and lock in all the right places. Just in case a HT does come along in the future

I get quite a lot of wind noise around the corners of the windscreen when going above 60 with the hardtop installed. Is this to be expected? The edges look pretty smooth and flush.

I have no wind noise whatsoever, it probably needs adjusting a little, I cant give you any tips on this as mine fit perfect first time.

tbh adjusting the hardtop is a world of pain and you can often make the fitting even worse
