Hard top wind noise

I'm getting a lot of wind noise around the top of the windscreen at 60. I've checked that the the top is properly secured and it is. Everything looks really flush at the front, so I can't imagine it could be improved although there must be variance in the tolerances between different cars, and my hard top has has been on other cars too.

Has anyone tried fiddling with the adjusters?
 
Can you slid a credit card or similar along the front join on the hardtop and windshield?
 
mine did this and i swear i spent ALL day adjusting the thing to perfection.... measuring the gaps to the stated 5mm along the leading edge, its been silent ever since. i NEARLY gave up on it as the adjusting process was a PITA, id make a change to one side and it would throw the other side out.
 
mine is the same its a pain in the a$$ to adjust ,I have tried but its only slightly better ,all the gaps look tight .Its the left front on mine at high motorway speed
 
Have to say I haven't had this problem with mine and i've been double that (on my private airfield).

I'd gladly sacrifice a Sunday. I don't have any instructions. How did you make the adjustments?
 
My hard top was totally out of adjustment.
I would start by making sure the weatherstrip over the windshield and doors are in good shape.
Next I would lubricate the weatherstrip, paying close attention to any areas which appear crushed.
Make sure you have used the "special tool" on the front mount and that you have completely engaged the two front mounts.
Also make sure the pin mounts at the base of the back (under the rear window) are in adjustment.
Lastly, adjust the power window settings as per your manual.

Please let me know how you get on. I haven't started on mine yet but I would say it's the same, and definitely secured properly.
 
Find a fast or bumpy road and adjust the hardtop there.

As said before, It's a bitch of a job due to the small adjustments then test drive (repeated...)
