Hard Top - Rear screen heater

I'm picking up a hard top this week and prior to collecting and fitting am curious about the heated rear window connnection.

Fitting, based upon the comments in previous threads looks like a real easy task, with perhaps some adustment for noise or leaks, so that's all OK

No doubt with this being Autumn in England I'll be doing first fit on someone's drive in the rain, so am I looking for a connector for the heated rear window, or does it pick up automatically?

dont understand exactly what you mean but mine worked without any modification :?

Mine hooked up with a spade connector...forget which side but is not rocket science used it today....works great

OK - so it should be straightforward once I see it in the flesh - Didn't for one minute assume it would be difficult - thanks guys

(Zee 42 - My father was a rocket engine designer so in some ways if it were rocket science that would not be too bad... )

When you fit the hardtop it picks up the connections automatically through the locking mechanism and disconnects the element in the soft top window.
