Hard top leak

Hi anyone come across this. Fitted hardtop ready for winter & now getting water leaking into boot. Can’t see anything obvious & was bone dry with soft top. Tried re sealing soft top & checked rubber seal around the base of the hardtop but no joy.

My guess would be that the hardtop is causing more water to run off around the boot lid shut rather than running around the base of the hood and down the roof drains. Check the boot seal and rear lights with a hosepipe. The lights have a neoprene gasket on the back which perishes and can leak.
