HARD TOP + COVER + STAND + ALL THE BITS... Before it goes on ebay

Hi guys, for what its worth I was the person who he offered it to 1st, i have already bought a bunch of bits off of him from the Z he was breaking, good price and plenty of communication back and forth (hence the reason he knew i was after a hard top and tried his hardest to help me out by even offering to drive miles out of his way on his return trip to meet me) but sadly due to a family illness i wasn't able to meet him as was at hospital. the price he sold it for is pretty good considering the current market value only looking like increasing further as autumn looms. shame the timing and available funds wasn't better as i would have happily taken this off his hands.

Thanks Jingle... Will still keep an eye out for a white one for you, wouldn't hold your breath though!!

A white hardtop - there's a rarity... don't think I've ever seen one...

Luckily a black one will work nicely on a white car.... :)

yea i know, downside of having a rare colour lol :headbang:

although when i do finally get 1 and get it sprayed, its going to look amazing!!

Not a colour I would have chosen, but at that price it was a no brainer. Surprised how warm it makes the car compared to the soft top. I had plans to get it sprayed right way, but might wait to see if the colour grows on me

Suprised you think it makes the car warmer. The soft top is multiple layer and thermally insulated (UK spec.)
I've owned one for years and would claim quieter, more secure, stylish, but never warmer.

I drove to the lakes in it last night, I wasn't expecting it to be any warmer, but it certainly felt like it. I do like the look of it and certainly stylish, but give me a soft top anyday

Perhaps it's just a psychological effect... as it reduces the wind noise, you 'feel' warmer - in much the same way that you can be perfectly comfortable indoors in the winter with the central heating on but if the wind starts blowing and whistling people 'feel' colder and turn up the heating or reach for a jumper

Quite possibly, i felt it handled better and more planted at speed (legal speeds of course!) maybe due to the spoiler...

Just seen this and it looks pants on your car, would look much better on a blue car :poke:

Without doubt stylish and gives you 2 cars for the price of one. Yopu can have the roof off in 5 minutes and back to the ragtop any day the sun pops out
