Happy xmas to me ... Oris landed today

After much pondering whether to treat myself & car to Eventuri & Aeros i chose neither & blew my modding stash on a ORIS watch 8)
Couldn't be happier with it :) I love cars & watches but contrary to my car habits i buy & keep my timepieces as opposed to trading them for a different model . The white faced Tag i bought 23 years ago when my son was born & the Breitling was a 40th gift to myself
This is my first Oris & first automatic but absolutely love its simplicity & the quality build of it is supreme
First thoughts are its much heavier & chunkier than my Breitling Aerospace which being titanium weighs very little by comparison

So time to start saving again & trying hard to ignore the recent glut of Aeroskirt & Eventuri posts

It's only a matter of time till you give in to the temptation.

Watches look very nice by the way, not that I know anything about them.

Nice watch always been a fan of the aquis range and was considering getting one myself until I got offered a stupid deal on a Williams F1 team edition Oris. They are great watches easily on a par with TAG or breitling but much better priced

How cool is that, Looks great Andy 8) I had a white faced Aquaracer back in the day, I've got a silver faced one now as my every day watch and a 1953 Omega for special occasions, a friend of mine collects Bond Edition Omegas, never worn one of them, has about 7 now, he says they're for his retirement fund

Great choice Andy.

I pondered an Aquis last year but decided to carry on saving for a Pam Luminor after my wedding next year.

Enjoy the watch!

Nice Andy, I quite fancy an Omega Seamaster when the opportunity arrises.

Ive seen some very competitive prices for a watch Mrs 5 likes at PrecisionTime.co.uk recently. Has anyone else dealt with them ?
