Hi all,
I am now a proud owner of a 2004 2.5l Z4 lockdown project car.

I will be asking a few questions I am sure you kind folk wouldn't mind helping me with, but wanted to say hi first, as its only polite. :)

I used to to be a Ford fan (Escort RS Turbo S2, Focus ST-2, Fiesta ST-3) but have come back into the BMW foray, so please limit your abuse to only 2-3 pages. :D

I had a Fiesta ST-2 and it was one of the best and nicest handling cars I've ever driven. So as above, nothing wrong with being a fast Ford fan :)

Enjoy your new Z4, I am sure you will enjoy the 6 cyl exhaust note! :P

Yes loved my Fiesta ST but wasn’t practical enough for kids etc. But now the Z4 is going to be the fun weekend car, once I iron out the bugs. 🤞🤞
 
Welcome on board. Your Z4 is going to feel a bit slow after the Fiesta. Get the roof down though and it should be twice the fun. :D :thumbsup:

I used to have Fords, but that was back in the 80s so they were things like a Mk2 Escort RS2000 and a couple of Capri 2.8 Injections. :roll:

Did anyone mention photos yet?
