Hi

Thought I'd try and post a few piccies etc of my current project, nicknamed Betty by my daughter she is a 3.0i with sat nav, stubby, zenons, 19" LMs.
For the past month or so its been nothing but giving her a deep clean and service and generally getting to know the car.

Cheers sars, going to do the brakes next, just bought some discs and pads from MTEC, four discs drilled and grooved with Mintex pads for £175.
 
Sound generator was only off to experiment with the sound and also part of the cleaning/maintenance schedule
 
Hi, did you spar your grill?

If so don't be surprised when it starts chipping off. I ended up wrapping mine which is holding up really well.

you're right it was sparred (sprayed ) and i'm fully aware that it might get chipped, but it is only an experiment to see if i like the look etc, the chrome work underneath wasn't properly keyed just in case i want to go back to original

Looks nice! Did you notice much of a difference with the sound deadening at all? Ive got loads of the stuff in my box room and toying with the idea of fitting it up...

Hi nicollow

I initially done this as i thought that the doors were a bit tinny, and to be honest ,although quieter and a bit more solid sounding it doesn't really do much, it is an open top roadster after all.

Thanks, I'm going to be going down the powerflex route soon as well so that should keep me busy for a bit
