I don't know if I'm just getting soft in my old age or what has brought on all the feelings that I am having this season. I have never in my life thus far, felt the way I am feeling this year. All the B-day wishes and the hand shaking ,offers and invites to lunches and dinners and the people that are taking time away from their jobs and familys, the phone calls, e-mails and the gifts from the people that are not blood family. All these things have so touched my heart deeply. I guess one never knows what the people you share your thoughts, efforts and not to mention the joking and picking and teasing with, really think about you. I feel so humbled by the efforts of so many and would like to express my feelings to all. The people here are really special to me and I thank my lucky stars to have found such great and thoughtful people.

IMHO, sometimes things are gone and left unsaid in life and sometimes things are misinterpeted.

My wish for all is to find all the good things in life and may you find those things close at hand. I have.

Now where is my stick. :poke: :poke: :poke:

I blame this little rant on a comment made in writing, that has touched my heart so and brought on all these feelings, on a person who's hand I have just recently shook hands with for the first time.

I know I have made some beautiful friendships here because of my Z4 and you know all that other related stuff. It all comes down to the decency and respect we have for each other in spite of all the differences. It is special and good.

Holy Crap! Happy Birthday you Crazy SOB - Only Guy I know of that can keep an M behind them on those twisties - with us (Ian & I) all along saying "oh my god - can't believe he keeps taking mountain corners at that speed"? Here's to keeping it on the edge as we get older without crossing the line! You're the man Bob! (Linda wants to again thank you for the bean bag!) Cheers & Enjoy!
 
Oh my Gosh, you made my B day such an incredible memorable and favorite day for me. It is a nice thing to do nice things and have unimaginable fun driving our great cars with other like minded increbile and fun folks, like we have in So Cal and nearby too!

Sorry to have missed your B-Day, but that only means we will just have to have to do that B-Day run again, and soon!

Thanks for sharing, Bob. It wasn't until I lost something that I loved very dearly that I actually understood what unconditional love is... and I'm still not very good at it, but I've progressed from knowledge of it to an understanding of it and I've got a good bit of life ahead of me to get good at it and maybe even reach a level of comprehension. Y'all have been an integral part of that progression. What I'm saying here is that I have those feelings too, with every one of y'all that I've met - and that's why I'm so eager all the time to spend time with y'all and get to meet more of ya's.

So here's to a great year :cheers: and an even greater one ahead of us 8)

Thanks for all that you've done for me, and introducing me to roads & people I never would of seen/met on my own. It's great knowing you, I can't wait until the next meet!
 
Happy late birthday Bob! Birthday runs are the best, aren't they?

I truly feel that the SoCalZs would not be what it is without Bob and Robyn. You both are the most kind and gracious folks and really make the events a ton of fun!

Thanks for everything you do for the group.
 
Bob is not old, he is young! You have to be young in heart and spirit to have the fun we all do! Think on that awhile. :driving:
