Sticker in bonnet says build May 2009.

Think they scrapped the bonnet stickers after a while.

How many miles have you done? Have you had may issues?

98k miles.
Issues..............Needs be separate thread.
Bought car 3 yrs old 29k miles.

1/ Knocking from rear axle first month. Fixed after 3 months by cleaning rubbers each end of spring and turning spring. BMW dealer warranty useless.
2/ Tail lights misting up. Dried out sealed with silicone.
3/ Tail light L misted up. Dried out sealed with Evo stick.
4/ Tail light R misted up. Dried out sealed with Evo stick.
5/ Roof stopped working, boot open roof in boot. By chance found loose plug. Glued cable tied, fixed.
6/ Windows all came down, wouldn't go up. Loose connector in drivers door switch.
7/ Hazard light switch pushed through panel. Managed to glue back in place. No lug to hold in place long turn.
8/ First roof fail broken wire, first of 3 similar events next 2 years..
9/ Boot cycling, faulty boot wires needed reconnecting twice, first left then right side..
10/ Replace salmon relays after roof stopped half open.
11/ Tail lights replaced with new as one failed due damp, then replaced second 6 months later. All Evo sticked up, no further problems.
12/ Idle at start became unstable. Replaced MAF sensor, no difference. Found oil in spark plug hole. Fitted new cam cover, cured.
13/ Half brakes failed, scary. Replaced brake master cylinder. Partly my fault, used DOT 5.1 fluid. No no.
14/ Aftermarket illuminated kick panel shorted due to damp ingress, didn't blow fuse, wiring caught fire. Put out with powder extinguisher. (set up future fail).
15/ Key reader failed. Replaced. Still didn't work. Took me 6 weeks to fix. Whilst waiting for parts, never stopped raining, car got damp, condense shorted out brake light switch (due the extinguisher powder). Blew ABS unit. Fitted 2nd hand unit. New stop lamp switch, twice, first was faulty!! Cured.
16/ Headlamp bulb failure, water got into HID unit. Managed to dry and seal it, works ok.
17/ Some point i replaced outside temperature sensor, no sure why now.
Good job i'm a diy fixer upper.
List so far.
