Well, the 'old' girl was born 20 years ago today ! :bday: Not bad for 101k miles and 20 years if I say so myself. I've had her just over 8 years now and added 47k miles to the clock. Loved every minute of it. Many upgrades and additions along the way have added some spice and kept our relationship 'interesting' :D Treated her to some new brake pads and a fluid flush today.20230529_122558.jpg
I'm off work the rest of the week and hope to find time for a little more Birthday tinkering and pampering including some serious detailing to get her looking sharp for the BMW Sommerfest at Oulton Park this coming Saturday. The Mrs and I had a great time at last years event at Donington Park....and I'm sure my Zed did too ! :D 20220807_144956.jpg

Birthday wishes to your "old" girl. :bday:

Still looking great.

One of the best looked after Zeds on here - hopefully will keep going for another 20 years Si. :driving:
Thanks Dan :D Fingers crossed my Zed will still going strong....not so sure about me though !

Definitely a credit to you Si

You’ve put a huge amount of time and effort into making the old girl rather special

Puts mine and most other’s Zeds to shame

You're very kind mate  TBH I've hardly touched it over the last few months and all the 'little' jobs ended up as last minute ones  Happy again now though :D

Happy birthday to your great looking zed 4, great colour and I like the blue brakes with it, looks good with sterling grey

Thank you Gentlemen :D  I'm not one generally for bright colours on brake calipers but wanted something to stand-out a bit behind my gloss black alloys. Thought I'd give a bright blue a go and actually like it very much. So much in fact that I used the same paint to spray the intake plenum on my Supercharger also. It's actually Hammerite Smooth Blue, but I'm calling it 'Bavarian Blue' as it's an almost perfect match for the blue on the BMW roundels ! :D It contrasts nicely in my opinion against the Sterling Grey/Gloss Black accents  20230602_160727.jpg
