Handy homemade oil/water/drain holes etc suckerupper thingy

Hi, anyone seen this before, could have multiple uses. Quite handy, but personally I would not use it for oil changes.

You wouldn’t be able to on your n52 engined zed, no dipstick hole for the plastic vacuum pipe to reach the sump :?

Correct, if I did I would not have it sucked out.
I had a concours condition Rover P6 3.5S, long time ago. I went to a Q8 petrol station, they had a machine that sucked out the engine oil. I dont know why but my oil pressure, which was superb, just was not the same after that.
Old method is best. Get under the car, at the same time you can inspect the condition of the car.

Great simple idea, but not a good idea to use for roof drain hole if that is what is being referred to in above post. It could well remove the water if there is any there but the drain hole would still be blocked. !! Got to clear them from below.

I used a net curtain wire with good effect when i had my e85

I found that a 'trumpet cleaner' off ebay was a good way of cleaning drain holes, similarto a curtain wire but with a brush on the end so had the effect of pulling any debris out.
