A good indy with a good reputation will reap dividends. Obvs imho and admittedly my experiences with Kwik-monke.....fit....are from other people's experiences that brought issues to me and not from my own......because I wouldn't take a kids pedal bike to them to ask what colour it was....
The comments regarding tyres are sound advice, poor quality run flats of differing makes at each end is asking for issues.![]()
I'd consider getting tyres fitted at a Kwik Fit, but that's it and I certainly wouldn't let them do any other work no matter how much they told me it was needed. My other half likes to do stupid things with cars when I'm looking the other way, and nearly handed them lots of money for completely unnecessary and/or overpriced things on her old Mini before I stopped her and sent to the local BMW Indy who quote approximately 70% less for the bits that were needed. The guy she spoke to at KF was the manager and I'm guessing earned a bonus for hitting sales targets.
I would stop short of calling them con-artists, but their way of doing business is not for me.
