what a great site this is ... hoping for a bit of help ..
ive got a 2010 E89 .. and the hand brake has stopped working.
ive connected it to Snap on Verus and comes back with no fault codes logged, Battery is new and alternator charging as it should.
the switch is switching its 12v as it should but nothing operates.
when driving along you can pull the switch and the calipers operate on the emergency system fine.
ive even now got the proper BMW software and interface leads and the are telling me the same .. no faults logged.
ive tried a software refresh but it wont do it as its asking for a MOST connection .. but i cant find the port to plug in ... im guessing it should be behind the small cover above the OBD port ??
any help would be much appricieated
