Handbrake lever advice

Hi guys, I have found a handbrake lever to replace mine with worn teeth.

Looks like the teeth are in good nick but the guy when removing it cut the cable!

Is there anyway I can fix it with the cable on mine?

Thanks in advance!

the cables on your car should slide out of the two indents holding them

same goes for the one off the car

imagine how a brake cable sits on a cycle brake- its a wire cable with a metal nib at the end

ah

I think that is replaceable doesn't it unscrew from the right hand side of where you have marked?

I think he's rogered it 🤣

Looks like it's riveted in.

Think I might have to drill it out if I can be bothered
Hope it didn't cost you much. I believe BMW no longer supply them, so it's an ever-decreasing pool of second-hand parts that is only going up in price.
