Ok so the rebuilding of this car is still taking place , new front disc/pads fitted. Got one side of the rear done but it’s too dark now . My obd pulled the pads to service position great but when I try the handbrake to reset the pads nothing just a yellow brake sign on the dash? I know I have only done one rear tonight but I thought it should reset help very welcome

Have you reconnected the plug??
Brakes are simplest i have ever had to work with.
I love the ebrake set up.
Try the stupid hand brake on a RX7!!

update ,all ok .Not sure what happened ? Did the other side this morning ,on the ground pumped the pedal did a reset on the obdII and h/brake all ok.Rest the service on the brakes, front reset 100% rear was at 56% and it wont let me reset that one,any ideas?? wear sensor?

yep off, and its all working just wont rest on the service side .havent driven it yet but will and try again ,the fronts reset no problem

Sometimes the reset just doesn’t seem to work with certain readers for reasons I don’t understand..as suggested just drive it around and see..if the sensor was not damaged it should reset..

Will do I did wonder of the rear sensor is 2 stage and maybe
I had got to 1stage but would have thought it would still reset , will try another code reader . I thought you could do it through the stalk as well?

No if it’s triggered stage 1 it’s toast..

You can reset the brakes on the BC stalk. It doesn't do percentages, just distance and it is a wild guess based on generic data. Doesn't mean diddly but it will reset the 'puter.
