Handbrake Cable Working On One Side

Hiya,

So my handbrake only seems to be grabbing on one side (left). It might be grabbing a tad on the right but you can really feel the pull from a slow roll to handbrake stop in the car park.

Any thought as to why one side might be slack?

If I need a new one anyone know what size it is 2/3mm?

Not really sure what you mean about do I need a new one? A new what?

I would start by removing the discs and inspecting the shoes, if they are in good condition strip the brakes down check the cables and the adjusters also check the disc where the shoes run.

Rebuild and adjust and take it from there.
