Hamilton spurts on Asian babe.

Why is this sexist? By implying that you are implying he only sprayed her because she was a female. They spray anyone they can on the podium with the stuff. It might not be very chivalrous but we're always being told that chivalry is sexist.

good point, anyone is game up there. Infact I remember they tried to get putin before he was rushed off by his heavy mob

Read this out of curiosity and interestingly while the live drivers conference was playing the back ground.

The question of whether this report has overshadowed his weekend came up.

Have to say what a waste of time and a massive fail for reporting.

OG
You will have to ask the Daily Mail why it was sexist. I am not suggesting it was. I said it was ill mannered.

I hope you don't think I am racist. :(

I do think Mercedes should teach Hamilton some manners if they want to benefit by association.

I pretty much gave up following F1 when M Schumacher retired.

Hamilton usually speaks well during interviews, so think his manners are fine.

I don't see has done anything wrong in this instance and hope he doesn't appologise unless the girl changes her mind and decides she was unhappy with the situation.

This is the first time I have read something on this forum and thought what a load of crap. I suppose it gives the Hamilton bashers another chance to have a go. And as for Schumacher being an ambassador. Because he always played fair and followed all the rules didn't he. To say this is some sort of sexist abuse is a joke. Its like me saying the people having a go at Hamilton must be racist.

X2 this is nothing new if you think she got it bad check out the celebrations after a BSB race those girls get soaked its all part of the fun nothing wrong at all.

See if I had been on the podium and LH had sprayed me with champagne, I would be happy unless it was Moet :D

....mountain and molehill

...oh and why is Rosberg such a wuss, stop bitching and drive better

Totally agree with you. Rosberg is a wuss. Can't believe he started moaning about being backed up. I know it's off topic but the original post is a waste of forum time. In my opinion.

I might be missing something, but don't they do this type of thing every podium celebration?!

Finisterre, I want some of the drugs you've been taking. You sound like a demented weirdo  probably just trolling though, so i'll ignore it.

Don't see the issue whatsoever here. But it's Lewis and he's mixed race, so the PC brigade will be out in full force.

If Jenson did this, everyone would say how funny it was. Shame he'll never get near that podium whilst driving that absolute dog of a car

That's the way I looked at it as well. I don't see why the girl involved was a special case, if you stand next to the f1 winner on the podium it's all you can expect really.

I did this once in 1999. We've been married for almost 16 years now and have a 15 year old son. Thoroughly recommended

Oh, wait a minute - you were talking about champagne :slaphead:

There is a story here, but it isn't hamilton spraying champagne over that lass, which happens basically every race on the podium. The whole F1 girls thing is excruciating. When the top 3 come through and they are being applauded by dozens of models in short and or tight clothes it makes F1 look archaic. Makes me cringe every time. It adds nothing and portrays the sport in a bad light.
