Halogen to Xenon Conversion

So a trip to Berry in Chiswick to try and obtain a "lug repair kit" two technicians search their database and concluded there is no such part; -there is a repair kit but it's not for the lugs, it's for one of the back pieces in the light casing.

They did mention that the light may not align properly without the outer lug that's missing and advised on a DIY repair if I didn't want to pay full wack for a new light unit!

Sorry if I've hijacked this thread, it does however still hold some useful info on halogen vs xenon vs hid, and lug breakage..!

Think you can do 'plastic welding' using a soldering iron. Not done it myself, but seen it done on headlight lugs in another thread.

I think some careful cutting, apoxy resin and maybe some small screws might do the trick, I'll update when I do the fitting..
