Halo BA9S bulb

One of my halo bulbs burned out today. Has anyone found a BA9S LED bulb that doesn't trigger an error message? Or found a regular bulb that gives off a slightly more "xenon white" light?

Interested in this thread too as the OE halogen way too warm a white for a bi-xenon IMO.

Anyone fitted these? I know they're bright enough as have them installed on my wife's VW Golf with xenon's.

I did this earlier this year see this thread - bulbs are a perfect match for the xenons too

Don’t go higher wattage than that or you may risk a heat problem. Decent upgrade for a bit of graft and a cheap part

munchkincoupe: Have you had any problems with the holder or lens getting too hot? I've read about others who've increased the wattage and had heat-related issues, which is why I'm asking.

No and that is why I stuck to lower wattage bulb too
