Halloween Egg Throwing

My old TT had an egg scar. I didn't know what bit was and when I was told I couldn't believe it!

I tried all sorts of scratch removers, polish etc and nothing worked. However this was all by hand maybe a machine will do a better job.

Sorry to see the damage swiftly, hope you get it sorted

Makes me so fucking angry at the youth of today, no fucking respect for any one elses property. Total shite scum bags, rant over!

Thanks brian, I'm annoyed at the hassle and the additional cost to put it right. It could have been alot worse, but at the end of the day it is a car and it can be repaired, although I would have preferred that it hadn't happened in the first place.

I hate those feckers throwing eggs, even more so those throwing them from cars. My eldest ended up hospitalised after taking one right on the eye...

That looks seriously painful :o

I hope your son has now recovered Stuart?

He's fine now thanks. That was a couple of years back. For a while it was possible he'd need surgery and would have long term visual damage.

Took a picture of the damage in natural light this morning and it looks worse than I was expecting

Clear coat is knackered, chunks of paint missing and circular hairline cracks to the paint as well so will not machine polish out :headbang:

Waiting for the guy from ChipsAway to call me back to see what the damage to my wallet is going to be.

Walking towards a night club with a few mates, not haloween, 4-5 years ago, out of nowhere I got smacked right in the crotch by an egg. not realising it was from a passing car my mates nearly beat the crap out of 2 guys on the otherside of the road while I was bent double.

They only twigged it was from a car went the two guys pleaded there innocence with a confused look a fear and there was no one else around!

I was not happy at the time but its funny now! :poke:

bloody hell.

luck its an egg, round here the use rockets/firecrackers.

they call it mischief night as a thin veil for robbing and vandalism. I used to tell people in halls when i was the tutor not to leave their windows open no one listened till someone had their room set on fire when a lit firework was thown in and their semesters notes went up in flames.

they deserve everything they get!

Did the Police catch the person who threw the egg or was it like my incident just a random thrower?

They looked to see if there was any CCTV footage but nothing so they got away with it.
