Thought I should redress the balance as H-J Warrington seem to be getting such poor reviews. My wife and i have, in the past 2 weeks, bought an 04 3.0 roadster. This was possibly the most pain free car buying experience of our lives. They, without prompting, offered sealguard for free, £40 of petrol, 2 years MOT, 12 months warranty and breakdown recovery, private plate transfered and plates made for free and to top this £1000 more than we were expecting for our p/x. Mr Aky Ali has nothing more than our praise, in the way he dealt with us, in fact after many years of Mercedes ownership I think my next car will be BMW purely based on the exceptional treatment displayed to us.

Of the three I used to use in the North-West, HJW was one of the better ones (not always what I would call good though).

Probably 50% of the time I used them they were great. Everything done on time, no hidden extras and sometimes a free breakfast.

Unfortunately the other 50% was times when you'd have the car booked in for a 2-3 days and book at courtesy car for the same time, only to arrive and find no courtesy car available and me having to go and hire a car for the trip to work in London/Scotland/Bristol/etc.

I just couldn't tell which service I was going to get with any particular booking, so stopped going there at all except for maybe parts where they were cheaper than Williams Liverpool (again different parts were cheaper at different dealerships too).

All the dealerships have probably changed since I last went to the service departments, but because they lost my trust with my e34 M5s, I don't trust them to do stuff on the Z4 either (except warranty work of course where I don't have a choice).

I bought my first Z4 (54 2.2l) from H-J at Warrington, nothing but praise. When little girl in Fiesta tried to write me off, H-J repaired it fantastically (totally good as new) and made the whole experience as pain-free as possible. Got my second Z4 from H-J Southport (57 2.5) not quite as good an experience. If I get another I think I will go back to Warrington.

Bought mine from HJ warrington, knocked a £1000 off the screen price and corrected the paint defects on the wing and nose, I wasnt trading anything in on it, but it was by far the cheapest 07 2.5si I had seen and a good colour and trim combination. That was back in May 2009 and its been happy motoring since
